Many of you have heard me mention a lady named Carol. . . she served the village where Duncan is from (she is a huge reason our boy is alive today!), and does a TON of other work in the area. I have never met anyone like her. She's called the Grandmother of All Children out there. . . We were honored to meet her, as well as her assistant David. Wish we could've had much more time with her. Maybe next time! Through the blessing of facebook and email, though, we have remained in regular contact.
Anyway, a lady I've "met" who is bringing home their new daughter soon has spent quite a bit of time recently with her in Fort Portal. Their daughter is from a children's home that Carol runs--just one part of the vast amount of work she does. She wrote a tribute to Carol Adams here, which gives a good glimpse of who she is and what she does.
The first child from Manna Rescue Home in Uganda has a new family. . . will you join us in praying for more of these sweet kids to have families, too?
